Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I haven't updated my profile and images for ages Reason being that i didn't shoot anything since the end of the 2nd term! And i have no time to do personal or random shoots, as i work over the weekend, and i rarely see my boyfriend as it is, so the inspiration for photographs is missing =/

I saw Step Up 2 (ages ago now!) and i loved it! Such a great film. I just wish i could like the guys in the film

Anyhow, i've done two shoots last thursday using transparency film and a flashgun (both for the first time). I actually need to leave now and pick up the film from the developing place!
Gotta go. Will let you know how they turned out

I can't upload new photographs, as i have to update my Internet or browser or something to supposrt DeviantArt! And i have a few images to put on here,which frustrates me even more
I need some sort of a password to update the Mac at home, so maybe this weekend,when the person (my mum's bf) that set up the bloody computer comes over, i will sort this out
Meanwhile, i gave in my project today,Portraits,the images from which you will see soon (i hope!) The crit itself went better than the last one with Katja *cough*..bitch..*cough*,so i'm much happier and it's holidays! Yay! Of coarse i gotta work the holidays, but i don't mind, as long as i give my mind a rest ( and my right hand,as it's knackered from all the writing=/),i don't CARE

Westboro Baptist Church, is not affiliated with a larger denomination and is made up mostly of Fred Phelps' extended family members. Phelps and his church gained national attention when they protested at the funeral of Matthew Shephard with signs that read "No Fags in Heaven" and "God Hates Fags."

Recently the radical church group has been known for picketing the funerals of soldiers who perished in Iraq. Last year a Baltimore jury awarded the father of a Marine whose funeral was targeted by Fred Phelps' group nearly $11m in damages.

The funeral protests have lead 22 US states, including Illinois, to enact or propose laws to limit the rights of protesters at funerals.

Westboro Baptist Church is also known to condemn Muslims, Roman Catholics and Jews.

I feel quite depressed..every time i look at a beautiful image on somebodys page on deviantArt and realise that im not at all as good as the photographer that took it.
Not that i have a useless and none-existant imagination (because i do hope i actually have it,the imagination that is!),- it's the equipment that's the problem..
Most students on my course own a digital SLR. And not just any, but a Nikon,because at Nottingham Trent they want you to own a Nikon.
What they don't realise is that some people,like me for example,are not made of fucking money and neither are the parents.
I mean, i don't understand how people that are younger than me on deviantArt own a Nkon or Canon D350 OR 400 or better..Im pretty sure they haven't bought them themselves..
i have to earn money for my first proper digital SLR this Xmas - a Nikon D40X.
Yes,that's a shit model compared to your fancy Nikon/Canon D400 and what not. But, that's me. I'll have to work two jobs over the Xmas holidays to maybe purchase it..
Equipment makes one hell of a difference on your photographs, I know that. I just can't keep borrowing equipment from the Uni store and drag it over to Peterborough
I want my own! Not just to mess around, but to take real photographs,professional photographs..
I just need to get that amount for my camera and i'll be so happy..
In the new year maybe..
